DATONE Clinic Introduces HILO WAVE, Combining Hydration with Natural-Looking Volume

DATONE Clinic, a private aesthetic clinic in Cheongdam, Seoul, has introduced HILO WAVE, a dual hyaluronic acid (Dual HA) product. The clinic, led by Medical Director Dr. Yeorim Ahn, said the addition reflects evolving aesthetic trends and its treatment philosophy.
HILO WAVE combines high- and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid and was developed to address overall skin condition alongside natural-looking volume.
By combining these two forms of HA, the product is designed to support skin remodeling, improve skin quality and enhance natural facial contours. In South Korea, it is approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) as a medical device for the injection of hyaluronic acid to improve facial wrinkles.
“Today’s patients increasingly want to improve the quality of their skin so that it looks naturally healthy, rather than seeking dramatic or excessive changes,” said Dr. Ahn. “HILO WAVE can improve hydration within the skin and support elasticity, offering the potential for a softer, more natural-looking appearance with minimal foreign-body sensation.”
“Harmony and balance must be the priority when treating the central areas of the face,” she continued. “Carefully assessing each patient’s skin condition, degree of age-related change and facial shape, followed by an individualized treatment approach, is essential for treatment safety and patient satisfaction.”
“We will continue to offer personalized solutions based on precise assessment and detailed treatment planning, helping patients build confidence while preserving their individual beauty,” Dr. Ahn added.
