DATONE Clinic in Cheongdam, Seoul Introduces JUVEGEL HA + PN Skin Booster

DATONE Clinic in Cheongdam, Seoul has introduced JUVEGEL, an injectable skin booster combining cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) and polynucleotides (PN), expanding its options for personalized aesthetic treatments.

JUVEGEL is a biomaterial designed for tissue repair, formulated with cross-linked HA and PN as its primary ingredients. The range includes three formulations—Fine, Classico, and Volume—allowing physicians to select an appropriate product according to the patient’s skin condition, treatment area, and individual goals.

“Skin thickness, movement, and the distribution of underlying fat vary across different areas of the face,” explained Dr. Yeorim Ahn, Medical Director of DATONE Clinic. “Even when patients have similar concerns, the appropriate approach may differ depending on whether the main issue is reduced skin elasticity, changes in volume, or changes in the structures that support the face. A thorough consultation to understand the patient’s current condition should come before product selection.”

Dr. Ahn emphasized that natural-looking changes begin with considering how the skin and different facial areas work together.

“A natural-looking result comes from harmony between skin quality and the face as a whole,” she said. “For skin booster treatments, assessing the patient’s skin and facial characteristics is just as important as choosing the product. We plan to use JUVEGEL’s three formulations selectively, taking skin thickness, individual concerns, and the treatment area into account. We will explain the changes each patient may benefit from and develop a measured treatment plan.”

This approach reflects DATONE Clinic’s broader philosophy of considering facial structure, recovery, and the patient’s overall condition as part of treatment planning.

“Our approach takes into account not only the skin and facial anatomy, but also recovery after treatment and the patient’s overall condition,” Dr. Ahn added. “With JUVEGEL, we first assess the extent of change that would be appropriate for the individual, then determine the treatment area and formulation. Recommendations should be guided by the patient’s needs rather than product recognition or trends.”

She concluded, “We will continue to consider skin condition, facial structure, and the relationship between neighboring areas when planning treatments, with the aim of achieving balanced, natural-looking changes.”
