DATONE Clinic Opens with a Focus on Personalized Care and Balance in Everyday Life

DATONE Clinic opened its doors in Cheongdam, Seoul, on August 3.

The clinic will focus on designing the treatments and care each person needs, including the order in which they are delivered. Its approach considers skin tone and texture, facial contours and muscles, recovery pace and daily routines, rather than routinely recommending a particular device or popular procedure. Preparation and recovery will be important parts of care. Longer-term plans include a gradual expansion into regenerative medicine, including stem cell-based and other advanced regenerative approaches.

In DATONE, “DA” represents “Different” and “Diversity,” while “TONE” refers to an overall sense of harmony that encompasses both a person’s appearance and the rhythm of their life. This philosophy is expressed in the clinic’s guiding phrase, “Your Own Tone, Designed by Phase.” The clinic aims to connect consultation, preparation, treatment, recovery and maintenance into a continuous process of care.

Dr. Yeorim Ahn, Medical Director of DATONE Clinic, holds a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from KAIST and a medical degree from Ewha Womans University’s Graduate School of Medicine. She has more than 10 years of clinical experience in aesthetic medicine, including laser treatments, botulinum toxin injections, dermal fillers and thread lifting. Her work as a key opinion leader, educator and adviser informs the clinic’s emphasis on choosing the right approach for each patient’s skin and carefully planning treatment sequence and intensity, rather than focusing on the device’s name.

“I wanted to create a comfortable, private clinic where patients receive clear explanations and can choose the care they need, whether they are new to aesthetic treatments or have experienced many before,” said Dr. Ahn. “I believe healthy-looking skin and a natural appearance come from accurately understanding the patient’s current condition and carefully coordinating preparation, treatment and recovery, rather than pursuing a single dramatic change.”

“DATONE Clinic aims to be more than a place that simply provides procedures. We want to consider each person’s skin, appearance and the balance of their everyday life,” she added. “Preparation before treatment and recovery afterward are fundamental to our care. We will also prepare to introduce broader regenerative medicine approaches step by step, in line with applicable regulations and safety standards. Our approach is to work with each patient on a plan for healthy aging, supporting changes that remain natural over time.”
